KLM, die grösste Airline der Welt hat ein neues Spezialangebot nach Südafrika. Flüge von Hannover nach Johannesburg gibt es bereits ab 579,-Euro bei der holländischen Fluggesellschaft. Das Angebot gilt bis 15.03.2008 und man muss bis zum 30.04.2008 den Flug antreten. Der Aufenthalt in Johannesburg muss mindestens 7 Tage betragen.

Am Samstag, den 1. März 2008, findet das jährliche Radrennen in Kapstadt, wieder seine Fans und Teilnehmer. Alle internationalen Teilnehmer können sich noch bis zum Samstag vor dem Cape Argus Pick n Pay Radrennen registrieren. Die Anmeldung findet auf der Website von cycletour.co.za statt. Die Teilnahme – Gebühr für internationale Teilnehmer beträgt 450 südafrikanische Rand (ca. 39,71 Euro). Letztes Jahr haben 41,279 Menschen an dem Event teilgenommen und 30.095 Menschen haben das Rennen beendet. Die Anzahl der internationalen Radrennfahrer(innen) belief sich auf 2.054.
